“She wasn’t born herself. She found herself over a long and treacherous road and the more treacherous the road became, the more of herself she found.”

Meredith Wilson

Meredith is someone who has learned that our deepest wounds can become our most powerful tools for healing others. As a resilient survivor of trauma who has navigated the complexities of mental health recovery, she brings both lived experience and deep empathy to situations. Her journey has taught her that healing not a destination but a continuous process that requires courage, vulnerability, and, often, the guidance of others who can hold space for our pain while helping us discover our inherent strength.

From a young age, Meredith has been a safe place that people turn to in moments of crisis and hardship. With a calm demeanor, curiosity and compassion, she meets individuals where they are at without judgement and unabashedly dives into complex topics such as trauma, mental health issues, and relationship dynamics. Meredith’s approach is grounded in authenticity, warmth, and approachability.

Meredith is a trained Victim Advocate for The Women’s Center, where she answers crisis hotline calls and provides emotional support to sexual assault victims during police interviews and forensic exams. Through this meaningful volunteer work, Meredith found her calling — seamlessly merging her lived experience with trauma, her deep rooted passion for mental health, and her natural inclination toward helping others.

In the fall, Meredith will continue her education journey by pursuing a second Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to ultimately become a licensed professional counselor. In the interim, Meredith wanted to explore a concept that has lived in her mind for years and would allow her to lean into wellness space while she’s in school.

Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to create Resilient Women Co. which combines her love of supporting others, being in nature, and building community. Her long-term vision is to establish a private practice focused on trauma recovery for women while continuing to create opportunities for millennial women to connect with others in similar seasons of life.

Meredith has found her purpose in life in which her personal healing journey and education can help others find their own path to recovery, resilience, and their village.

Raised in Arkansas, Meredith has planted roots in Fort Worth, Texas with her young son. In her free time, you’ll often find her with a non-fiction book in her hand, car camping at a state park, or going on a spontaneous adventure.
